Baywatch Avalon Lifeguard Headquarters

A ceramic tile mural destined for the new headquarters building of the
Baywatch Avalon station of the Los Angeles County Lifeguards on Catalina Island.
Approx. 150 sq. ft., hand-painted on hand-made ceramic tiles.

Commissioned by the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department 2009.

UPDATE:
The mural was installed the week of July 5-11, 2009, on the exterior of the lifeguard station.
The lifeguard station is nearly completed and a "grand opening" will be happening soon.
